Answers in bold ^^ Iran, Azerbaijan and Oman are not "local area", but Iran supports refugee camps in other countries a lot financially. Israel is just being Israel.

Edit: But Saudi Arabia and U.A.E certainly have a lot. Egypt - not so much, but that's not local area either, and compared to the 12,000 syrian refugees in France, it's still a pretty huge part.
