I think the man is a hero really. He litterly put his life on the line and saved his client's life. See at the end of the day its about perseption. The authistic boy probably would have been killed by that cop. And then the story would have been how a cop shot an authistic boy with a toy truck... which would have been far far worse. And or course we need to be upset period but it doesn't take much to turn this into a story about ordinary people going out of their way to care for well being of another. I really salute him. We need more people to look after each other. You cannot depend on law enforcement to always get it right especially in a world where we are trained to fear each other and racism is very real.
