On the one hand, it is a damn shame that they don't just use the Neo Geo Gold idea, and have an SD card type slot, to have future "Expansion" releases, with a few games on each new card for relatively cheap. There are, naturally, MANY more games that NES had that they are leaving off of it, such as the original Contra, Castlevania 3, Mighty Final Fight, MM 1-6 (they only include 2), Dragon Quest 1-4, Rad Racer, etc. etc. etc.

But on the other hand, even though they ARE leaving money on the table with the no expansion move, it is STILL a very cool novelty item, and the fact that they seem to have done their homework about some of the inclusions being some of the most popular NES games, it's going to sell well. Being made FOR HDTVs is a huge plus, as is the NES controller that uses Wii controller plugs. I'll be getting one for sure.

Now what I want them to do, is make the same thing, but a Game Boy version. A GB system you can also plug into your HDTV. Because, in addition to other greats like Mario Land, Kirby, Alleyway, the original Wave Race, etc., I REALLY want to be able to play Link's Awakening (my fav. Zelda) on my big TV.
