I never said I wasn't comparing, so again, not entirely sure where you're getting this from. I never said I wasn't comparing CoD to other shooters. What I said was that I wasn't accusing it of ripping it off. And I genuinely hope there is some distinction in your mind between comparing two games in the same genre and accusing one game of ripping off another.

And I've never missed that point at all. You, in the OP, were wondering why nobody was excited about this game. My explanation is that nobody is excited because everything that IW has done are things that we have seen before in other games. That is all I have been arguing for this entire time. I'm not trying to argue that CoD ripped anyone off, or anything other than providing an explanation on why people aren't excited. I'm honestly not sure how I can make that any clearer.

 

All right, if you say you wasn't comparing or saying it isn't a ripoff then ok fine.

It's not about people being excited or not, it's about why people hating on it, and I think I already know why. They want more of the old WW1, WW2, Vietnam War, and Modern Warfare stuff.
