We've been at that point since you couldn't get a good 680 for under 600^^ I mean you have seen the initial reaction for the price of the 1080. People (including me) were actually praising the low price despite probably being the most expensive x80 at launch ever. So either Nvidia is doing marketing extremely well or we're just at this point. We're at a point where I was genuinely happy and surprised that a 6700k costs less than 400, a fucking CPU. Maybe it's this feeling of euphoria technology enthusiasts get when they are presented with more and more power over the years. We live in a time where actual 4k gaming is within reach on a single GPU. I love to be excited for new technology and this excitement is basically ripping my bank account wide open for ridiculous spending. |
I also like watching how tech advances and how powerful CPUs and GPUs have become, but I don't let that get in the way of what I can buy or afford.
And why did you get a 680 for 600? The retail price was 500 and there were lots of good AIB cards in between.
Please excuse my bad English.
