Land Before Time didn't see cinema release after the first one, they were all straight to video, much like all the Disney sequels.
I think this films problem is that the first one came out in 2002, 14 years ago. The kids who loved it then are grown up while the films are still trying to cater for a young audience who might not have seen the first few films let alone were alive when they first came out. However, the last one made loads of money and generally the Ice Age films have a smaller budget that othr big CGI releases (only costs less than $100mil instead of $150-200 mil like Good Dinosaur did).
Not sure I'd see it myself, I like a good animated film and will see Dory when it comes out in the UK. I do think it's time to stop and for the animators to make soemthing new ( mean different to all the other films they make I mean... they make a lot).
