I see this site https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Game_of_the_Year_awards but no real mention there for GAME of the year, witcher 3 seemed to win the most, perhaps you're thinking of some dude posting on a forum like here on vgchartz. 'My personal Game of the year was TombRaider'. For me as a Game Developer the only awards that count are GDCA and DICE
