I wouldn't be so sure of that.  I mentioned earlier that I was fined out of court for illegal downloads in the past.  I can only imagine what would have happened if this did go to court, I was found guilty and I refused to pay the fine.  Jail time?  I didn't look into it that far, and I didn't want to.  But I can't say it's impossible.

 

Let me share my story. I got careless and forgot to stop sharing an old movie I downloaded about 3 years back. A few weeks later my ISP wrote me a letter and threaten to lower my internet speed if I continue. It was Verizon lol. Anyways, after that I stop being careless, and I switched to a different ISP. lol
