SP: 6/10. Gameplay wise I found absolutely nothing special about it. There were some unique factors like the instakill enemies, I enjoyed that. But for every unique element there were 4 or 5 tired cliche elements the game not only featured but seemed to embrace. You could literally see when your next firefight was going to happen just by the level design. Stealth was also a joke, the AI sucked and you could just funnel enemies one by one into a room and incapacitate them. But the narrative was good, the game world was great, the little tidbits of story you pick up here and there from survivors was fantastic.
MP: 7/10. I would have originally rated this a 9 or 10, and in fact I think I have posted here before and rated the game an 8 or 9 based solely on the MP. But greedy DLC not only made the game very pay to win, but it shifted the entire meta of the MP away from strategic, tactical bliss and into run and gun crap. I rate it a 7 for the brutality, and the rare rare occasion where you join a match and find people using tactics. But it's really a shame what happened to the MP. This was my first PS4 title as I had loads of fun with the MP on PS3 and it's just meh now imho.
So I would say a 7 overall with a bigger emphasis on MP than SP from me.
