I may be exagerating on this, but this seems like more of a GTA wannabe(In presentation), than an actual FF game. |
It's fantasy grounded on reality, as they've pointed out several times. This is not the first time Final Fantasy attempts something like this, as Final Fantasy VII (and it's spin offs like Dirge of Cerberus, Advent Children and the upcoming Remake), VIII and part of the XIII series (Lightning Returns) were heavy on realism, meshed with fantasy. Thing about XV is that it could take the crown in this aspect, but it is still a fantasy game primarily, and I doubt the presentation ever implied a GTA kind of game as everything we've shown so far points to the other direction.
