And even if it doesn't stop happening, no one is controlling your mind. Turn off the news. Don't go to a news site. Don't listen to news radio. Block anyone on your social media that talks about it. Tuning out is possible if you want to. It's really a much better way to life your life... trust me.

I don't use social media. Also, I only check the news for any good stories(aka close to never).

 

To be honest though, it's hard to completely tune it out for me. Curiosity gets the best of me and I go around seeing what's going on with the world.
