Bandai Namco to announce new IP at Gamescom 2016, designed for Western audiences

For a western audience... that doesnt sound like a good thing imo. Everything great theyve ever done appealed to Japan. For the most part its the westerners who like Japanese games/media that then buy it when it comes to the west.
Well hopefully Im wrong and this was just worded poorly.
