if KZ2 was there it would have been too many FPS and not many after 08 which is not a wise management decision(like 360 this year,,,,they got lots in 07 and not much this year)

 Don't forget Quake Wars, Battlefield Bad Company, Dead Space, Tiberum (command and conquer), Project Origin, Brothers in Arms, and Socom Confrontation.  The way I see it, there will a shooter release each month for the remainder of the year.

 I totally agree with you.  I feel this is Sony's attempt to "relate" to the western market, in which if that is what I wanted as a gamer, the 360 would have been the game system I would have bought first.  I bought the PS3 to play my back catalogue (60 gig) and play the traditional games the PS brand has supplied me in the past  But it seems that since Japan has made this "casual" market leap, Microsoft aggressively going after the RPG market out there, and Sony playing catch up/compete in N.A. market, that their game eco system for the PS3 is all jacked up.  I know third parties have to do with it too, but there have been other hits that were not FPS.
