Pokemon GO more than probable, since if you look at the other Amazons from the countries where the app has released, all of them are seeing the very same phenomenon, suddden 3DS and Pokemon(all of them literally, since way back to Gen I to now with Sun & Moon)surges out of the blue, after the app released.  So it is more than probable the effect Iwata envisioned with the apps Nintendo would work to bring to hte market.
