2K and Firaxis Games today released a new video for Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, in which Art Director Brian Busatti talks about the themes and inspiration behind the art of Civilization VI. Civilization VI promises to feature strong visual themes of exploration, along with a new stylized design that makes it much brighter and more visually distinct from previous games.

 

STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT – OFFLINE MODE COMING ON JULY 20TH

DICE has announced that Star Wars: Battlefront will receive an offline mode on July 20th. According to Dennis Brannvall, Lead Designer of Star Wars Battlefront, the new offline mode – called Skirmish – will be available starting July 20th and will offer players the option to play offline against bots in a solo mission.

Hello Games has released a new trailer for No Man’s Sky. No Man’s Sky is a space exploration game and while it will not feature a story, it will come with 18 quintillion planets to explore and the ability to name undiscovered creatures and planets.

Ubisoft has announced that the sequel to Grow Home, Grow Up, will be released on August 16th. As Ubisoft described, Grow Up will have BUD leaping acrobatically through a new open-world to recover pieces of his lost spacecraft.

5 Lives Studios has released a new patch for Satellite Reign that adds 4-player co-op support. As the team noted, currently players have access to an experimental build in order to test it (now that most of critical issues have been addressed). BATMAN – THE TELLTALE SERIES RELEASES DIGITALLY THIS AUGUST, COMING TO RETAIL IN SEPTEMBER

Warner Bros and Telltale Games today announced that BATMAN – The Telltale Series will be making its worldwide debut as a digital download with its first episode in August. The series will be available to purchase at retailers starting September 13th as a special “Season Pass Disc,” which will include the first of five episodes in the season, and will grant access to the subsequent four episodes as they become available for download via online updates in North America. The series will then be available to purchase at retailers across Europe on September 16th.
