During the Bastille Day Fireworks in Nice, a truck ran into the crowd at the Promenade des Anglais.
More than a hundred people were wounded, tens were killed. First approximations are at least ~30 killed.
Terrorist attack possible, but unlikely. Authorities talked about a "criminal attack". Gunshots were heard, but since the driver was shot down by the Police, that could explain it.
