Out of curiosity, how does not being in a relationship help one to be successful? That sounds a little strange. I suppose that if you decided to start a relationship with a total deadbeat that would be bad, but in my experience, most people aren't like that. If anything, I would say being in a good relationship is more beneficial to success. And if you end up in a bad one by accident, you can break it up and start a new one, assuming you live in Europe, and not a non-liberalized nation. |
A little late of reply, but nonetheless, I didn't say that. I simply said that I'm concerned about my success. Doesn't mean I will not date or take things further if I do hit it off well with somebody, it's just that I wouldn't hurt myself to simply be in a relationship. Most people in my family have been in a relationship very early in their life, had kids and/or married young. They regret having put their pursuits on hold. I'm not saying this will happen to everybody, as I was simply speaking about myself. In my experience, I've seen it way too many times.
