Just got finished watching the video.
I totally believe what he's saying. Pretty much every story about how MS handles their studios points to this being true. MS has a vision for their games division and all of their developers are there to help them achieve their vision. So, MS retains a huge amount of control over them.
Personally, I think it sucks. I think you're going to get the best games by letting the people who actually make the games decide what they want to work on. Not to say they should have total freedom. But the vice grip MS seems to have its studios under is ridiculous.
Sadly, I haven't gotten a chance to play Halo 5 yet. Hopefully in the next year or so I'll pick up and Xbox One and play it then. But I'm not terribly optimistic about how it's going to be. I wasn't impressed with Halo 4 and from what I hear 5 has the worst campaign in the series.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
