I've seen someone at my job playing it a bit and that's it. It's not that huge where I live ... yet ( I'm in Canada )

Where in Canada? I find this a little hard to believe. You're lucky if you can hold a gym for more than 30 minutes here. I've lost one that was out 20-25 minutes out of the city on a back road in 30 minutes. I can see 4 gyms and exactly 33 Pokéstops from my home. Granted I live in city center which has around a dozen gyms and at least 150 Pokéstops, that's under-balling it as well. Probably closer to 250-300. So I almost want to call bullshit, but for all I know. You could live in a small town. I'm assuming you live in a very, very small town.

I think most malls already have Pokestops. The nearest one to me has at least half a dozen leftover from the Ingress portals. I'm sure there will be an adjustment period as certain locations (especially churches) ask to be removed from the network while many businesses happily volunteer to take their place.

Yeah, one church in particular has been trying for some time to NOT have traffic passing through it's parking lot as it can serve as a shortcut to get to another road.  This will not help with that as it is a Pokestop :P

But yes, most malls have them I imagine.  But at least in my area, we have a very large mall with only 1 stop and 1 gym.  I'm sure I'm not the only one.  Granted, there are 5 or 6 gyms within minutes of driving distance and numerous pokestops so it's not like the general area is lacking.

I'm not sure about the all the other malls in Edmonton as I haven't had the time to check out the Southside or most of the north. I can tell you that West Edmonton Mall has 3 gyms inside of it. I've heard people say there is 4 but I haven't gone in since the game came out. I just drove past it. I can also confirm that there is around 50 Pokéstops in the mall. Maybe more? I'll need to actually go inside sometime soonish :P

Do keep in mind that West Edmonton Mall is one of the largest malls in the world and has both a big waterpark and an amusement park within the mall.  For those who want to compare it with Mall of America. Please note that West Edmonton Mall has far more attractions and more stuff for adults. Here's a picture of our water park :3

You can't see everything as there is more behind those slides and behind the camera. If you're asking if that is a loop. Yes it is, not 90 degrees, but it's a loop alright. A floor trap drops you from the top and you nearly free fall for half a second onto the slide and the whole thing is over in about 2.5-3 seconds.

Mall stats below.

West Edmonton Mall:
Size: 5.3 million square feet
Store count: 800+
Founded: 1981

Mall of America:
Size: 4.2 million square feet
Store Count: 520+
Founded: 1992

West Edmonton Mall is about to expand the Casino in a 45 million dollar renovation. So yeah..... it's got A LOT of Pokémon Go hot spots. Edmonton has a lot throughout the city.

Well I'm from Edmonton Canada. You can't even 2 blocks without seeing people playing. Even out in the smaller rural areas people are just driving and playing. I was out from midnight to almost 2am and people are still everywhere. Lures are still placed. People are driving around with their phones out. Biking and skateboarding. Some gyms last mere minutes. It's literally an invasion. Honestly, almost everyone has it here. I've already seen a few level 24's.... and that was yesterday.....

Wow! I can't imagine what it will be once it's officially released!

There is no doubt in my mind that it'll be a hit. Especially in Canada. People are crazy here and well... this is Edmonton. It's no surprised that everyone has APK's and out and about. Last night I saw someone put on their hazard lights and sat in the middle lane of a normally very busy road. When I mean busy, I mean by an University and downtown in a major city. He just sat there for a about 2 minutes in the center lane as everyone had to go around him. There were two Pokéstops where the circle actually overlaps each other. A lure on each. I saw about 4 other cars parked outside of the film rating board (the building with the Pokéstops). I've seen people speed and whip and corners. Stop and go. A lot of vehicles with 5 people in it, I think some had more people than seatbelts. Edmontonians are crazy!

Yesterday I captured the Arena in Stony which is a small town outside of the city. A truck of 5 people drove off and when I was capturing the gym they whipped around the corner and was back with in a minute. Luckily they were an ally team :3

Then again here's some local driving style. Just another rich dude who needs to prove a point on how his dick is bigger than everyone else's and that he doesn't give a fuck.
