How about put a subscription nintendo virtual console on other consoles?
So, nintendo goes with a tradictional console. They have their own hardware, and make games exclusivly for their console, with free online.
But put a virtual console on any other device: in other consoles, you have to pay to have access to the virtual nintendo console, and it would map the controller to the nintendo controler and emulate nintendo games from the virtual console and play online. And yes, youll have to pay for the games and the subscription for the nintendo virtual console.

For those who choose to buy the nintendo console, they dont have to pay the subscription, pay only the games, and free online.
For those who dont want to buy the nintendo console, but still want to play nintendo games, just pay the subscription, and pay the games they want to play while the subscription is on.

-For nintendo console owners, not would change(maybe more people on online?)
-For other console or pc owners, would be better because they would have access to nintendo library on their console, and do not have to buy other console
-For nintendo is awesome, bring games to more people, sell more games(mainly digital, which profit more), earn money of subscripton(kinda of money they woud loose to not selling the console for everyone, i though a 50$ per year subsciption(could be less), in 5 years would make a 250$, kinda the price of a nintendo console, but with no manufacturing costs)

Better for everyone.
