what was COD4 then?generic beautiful FPS

no one knows about the quality of the game ,so don't start the flame with going off topic.
this tread is about management decisions not quality of KZ2,,,you made your point when you said they have no faith in the game,,no one repsonded you and now you came back for 1 more round of KZ2 bashing,,,,why do you insist on bashing KZ2?stop trolling.

CoD4 WAS generic in every way, it was just a very good generic shooter.

Generic doesn't necessarily mean bad, but Mafoo was blatantly incorrect in his assertion that KZ2 looks "unique."

Please read my posts more carefully next time before you jump down my throat.

That's exactly it. KZ2 looks like a typical shooter wrapped in a very flashy package, much like CoD4, one of last year's contenders for GotY. They both do things very similarly. Scripted events, things like that. Both KZ2 and CoD4 seem to have inifinitley respawning enemies in some areas as well.

All in all, I'm very excited for KZ2. :)

And btw, Bioshock is hitting the ps3 13 months after it hit the 360, not 18. :P

The difference is, CoD4 did it amazingly, wheras there is just as great chance KZ2 will do it poorly as there is it will do it well.  But you put your finger on the issue from a sales perspective.  If KZ2 is just another version (indeed, even if its slightly more "flashy") of CoD/Resistance 2/GeoW2 and all the other shooters hitting, how many people outside of die-hard fans are going to buy it in November having bought 1-5 shooters just like it (only with better gameplay) in November/December?

And I apologize about the Bioshock miscalculation, I guess we'll have to wait for a release date before we know where in the 12-15 month late bracket it falls.
