But I think with due time this will change. I do own a PC though which runs Half-Life 2 pretty well, but with the PS3 out I don't plan to upgrade it for many years to come. |
If you really like power you should sell your PC and PS3 and choose a powerful PC instead. Console can't be upgraded, as much as you like the cell to be powerful and hope that the SPEs get fully used, they will be easily dwarfed by a PC. And whenever your PC does not live up to expectations, just plug in an extra RAM or upgrade your graphic card.
Talking about PS3 power (and xbox360 and specially wii for that matter) compared to a PC is useless in my opinion.
