Concerns:

Monster catch system and utilization of caught monsters = potentially way too much like Pokemon. I can play Pokemon if I want. I don't want this to be too similar.

Chibi art. I think this could get annoying over time and the idea that you can change "forms" whenever you want seems a tad pointless to me.

Positives:

Looks to have a classic Final Fantasy vibe, which hasn't been around since the PS2 was reigning supreme.

Overall gameplay and stories should easily surpass 100+ hours, per SE and other sources. Meaning LOTS of replayability.

A fresh take on FF as of late. I probably won't be getting XV unless I hear some really positive things about it from long time FF fans (like myself), and not some of the newer ones who were introduced with FF XIII and later.

I'd almost be willing to buy a Vita just for this game as it seems it would be most fun played portability on a smaller screen. Anyone agree or disagree?
