It's not abnormal for the brain to connect similarities. But here it's called: Unntakstilstand. Where Normal rules and right's are being put out of function cause due for circumstancials that threatens the existence or the structure of the Society/community.  ( I had to make sure we are talking about the same emergency system) 

So technically, i have never seen the written word for Martial law, not more then i have read and heard Marshall law from Tekken. So my reasonable mistake is actually more reasonable then what it would have been if the mistake was yours. 
Also, Martial on Norwegian Subs are marshall but i need to double check that so that i don't discredit someone for something they didn't do

It is real, it just haven't happen yet. Everything that can go wrong will go wrong and that includes every country in this world including our's. 
It's more likely to happen in Europe these days, especially since the tension around the world have spiked and the source is Europe. 

It is scary and creepy... I understand Americans don't feel the same since they live on the other side of the globe and will barely notice the tension that is going on here..  I am also scared that if a war happens, US is coming here and they will steal our oil behind our backs when we are busy defending ourselves.
