The first Halo seemed to move just a little too slow for me. The movements just didn't have the speed that most shooters had back then. I also played Starsiege: Tribes back in the day and Halo seemed to be just a weaker version of a space shooter to me. I don't think I'll ever fully appreciate the Halo world but I can't deny that I had some fun back in the day playing multiplayer Halo.
