A lot of people tend to forget that Chrono Trigger is painfully short by RPG standards. If the story is good enough, the length issue will fall by the wayside.

Plus, in SO5's defense, I've heard mostly positive things from actual fans, just not reviewers.

I would hardly call Chrono Trigger short. The game lasts around 40 hours give or take. Its what rpgs tended to last back in the day.

To the subject at hand, I am Setsuna is a budget title probably due to the fact that Tokyo RPG Factory is a new studio, and this is their first game(and with that I assume their members are mostly new to the industry). So this title is more of a game to get them used to development than anythign else.Thats my opinion at least.

Go play it again. It's like 20 hours, 30 if you do the sidequests.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!
