I would hardly call Chrono Trigger short. The game lasts around 40 hours give or take. Its what rpgs tended to last back in the day.
To the subject at hand, I am Setsuna is a budget title probably due to the fact that Tokyo RPG Factory is a new studio, and this is their first game(and with that I assume their members are mostly new to the industry). So this title is more of a game to get them used to development than anythign else.Thats my opinion at least. |
Chrono Trigger is most likely a 20-30 hour game, on the first time through. There is a lot to do in the game, especially with multiple endings, but the game isn't terribly long like some other RPGs.
On the subject, I am enjoying SO5 for what it is. Does it have problems? Of course it does, but every game does have problems. I am also looking forward to Setsuna, as I don't have a lot of time to play games nowadays and shorter ones are always welcomed.
