There was no reason to kill him now because of a mistake far in his past. |
He was on probation, yet carrying a weapon. If he was reaching for his gun, do you think the police officer is willing to die for some criminal? Yes what the officer did was wrong (even if you're planning to shoot, always go for the legs first, or if you can't try to supress the weapon), but it doesn't mean this person was certainly kind to the people he commited crimes against.
