The most logical procedure is to pull the gun away from the suspect, not to trigger it.

And still, this does not justify aiming your gun at a suspect in that position. I like to think that it was an accident. But man, there has been so many "accidents" against the same specific demographic that it really makes you wonder if we are giving the benefit of the doubt too easily nowadays.
