Wow, cheap cards sure pack quite a punch these days! Now what I m most curious about is dx12 performance. Virtually all games from MS press conf will most certainly be running in dx12, bf1 seems to have a setting in dx12 and I m sure more EA games will have dx12 support. Deux Ex will also have dx12 support and the list goes on.

Now AMD's cards does see quite a gain in dx12 performance compared to Nvidia's. So I wonder how the 480 will be against the 1060 in dx12. I really do think dx12 should be a notable consideration at this point cause that will certainly be the future of most games.

Ugh, another thing to keep in mind xD

Loll just remember to always wait for the benchmarks! I am sure the 1060 will beat 480 in most games but most games these days that are being benchmarked is in dx11 so if you want to buy a card which will last you for a very long time, certainly keep an eye out for dx12 benchmarks as well. As console developers continue to use Async and dx12 on their games, it only benefits AMD cards more compared to Nvidia's but Pascal does have some dx12 improvements. It will be an interesting fight to say the least!
