Killzone games, whether you like them or not, have always been very well made games.  Maybe not amazing, but definetly not mediocre.

IIRC the SMT games use that weird first person view thing, that alone makes them pretty mediocre to me. Dunno about the first 2 Persona games, if Atlus ever re-release them on a current platform maybe I'll find out...

As for Killzone, the first game was just wasn't that good. The gameplay was poor and it didn't exactly have a storyline worth following either. Killzone 2 and onwards were fantastic games but not the original.

All right I can agree with you on Killzone 1, but not all SMT games were like that, only the really old ones.Even then, they weren't bad games, just not for everyone I supppose. Then PS2 ones, like Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga were 3d and you'd navigate the world like P3. Heck, in Nocturne you can fight Dante, that alone is pretty cool.
