Have you ever stopped playing a game for a reason related to the storyline?

No, if I quit a game it's always because of gameplay reasons. The story usually isn't important enough to make me stop permanently if the gameplay is fun, even if said story is boring as sh*t. A good story does definitely help make a game better though.
