More GTX 1060 leaks and it's not looking good for RX 480. GTX 1060 is beating RX 480 in FireStrike benchmarks. It seems to be on par with the GTX 980, while RX 480 only trades blows with the GTX 970. If Nvidia gets aggressive with pricing it will very likely be the better card. Then again, AMD could discount the RX 480 if Nvidia does get aggressive with pricing, prompting a bit of a price war, which would be good for consumers.

Let's not be so dramatic.

The GTX 1060, using only the firestrike benches, is between 8-10% faster than the GTX 480, making it also slower than the GTX 980. And besides the driver to fix the power consumption problem, rumors also talk about AMD working on a driver that would improve the 480 performance by up to 3%.

And then there's the unknown of the GTX 1060 price, that it will have a bit less memory, etc.

There will be competition, which will be good for all of us.
