Definitely agree with most of these points.

I'm not gonna be like a Melee elitist and say they need to bring back wavedashing, but I feel like the one thing that Smash really needs that Melee had was a lot of hitstun, which was a strong factor to having true combos without having to rely on grabs all the time.

I am personally fine with the roster being cut down as long as they cut out certain characters, like Dark Pit and Corrin (I like both of these characters, but even I agree that they were pretty questionable additions to the roster.)

Custom moves really need to be available right out the box, and the fact that you had to unlock them without a reliable way of doing so without cheating pretty much killed their chance of having any relevancy.

I really hope Nintendo realizes some things about Smash, such as the fact that a good chunk of players like neutral stages like Battlefield and Smashville, and that For Glory shouldn't be just Final Destination for it to be a decent online mode.

I really do hope that they fix online in general, such as adding more stages in For Glory, having the connection quality icon for randoms, and just better rules (the way tourney mode works for tie breaking is so stupid.) I know it won't happen, but Nintendo should look at Anther's Ladder and take notes, cause that is how you do an online Smash mode properly.

Also, I just wanted to say that I found it pretty amusing that people were like "ugh too many sword characters" when a good chunk of them are pretty average to mediocre compared to the rest of the cast (Cloud being the extreme exception.)

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
