Wait, when was difficulty a thing people complained about in SS? Everybody complained because there was zero reason to battle, not because we thought the battle were hard.

I swear this whole game is being developed in a vacuum. Even when GameXplain interviewed Tabata she clearly hadn't even considered that fans wanted a TTYD remake or a game in thar style.

It's because of the Mario & Luigi RPG series you know. She clearly stated that there could only be 1 truly RPG series in the Mario universe, so they gave that role to M&L :P Paper Mario is now an action/adventure series.

Usually when I make a life-altering decision I think about the alternative for months or years. Tabata clearly didn't do so going by how blindsided she seemed to be by the question about a TTYD remake. She showed a more genuine response to that because it wasn't a possibility she considered. She never made the call to stick with the SS style, she was simply put in a role of leadership for the game as she has been for her whole career with random projects.

Essentially, what I'm saying is, they didn't expect that question to come out, and Tabata's response shows effectively that once the decision was made there was no choice but to say yes to it and never think about it again.

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!
