Gameplay trailer looked like pretty standard Platinum hack and slash to me.
1:04 and 1:11 show off combos that seemed to be performed with different inputs (1:04 looks like a standard attack into a sweep into a double hitting lunge, which is pretty much quintessential Bayonetta stuff). Character also looks to move quite fast; another typical trait of hack and slash titles. Admittedly we haven't seen a ton of gameplay shown for this, but this looks like hack and slash to me.
