Should I tip the owner of the salon if she cuts my hair?

I've always been confused on how to do this. My last hairstylist was also the co-owner of the salon and I always tipped him. I just moved and I'm looking for a new hairstylist and I found one, again, the owner of the salon. She also charges the same prices($25) as everyone else who rents workspace from her.
