In Brazil a XOne is R$1200 while a gaming PC with similar performance would be something like R$2500, but PC games are about half the price of XOne games at launch. For people that buy lots of games, a PC is a better value here, but if you just plan to buy games at least 2 months after their release and no more than 1 game/month, the XOne is much better value, because it is probably gonna last around 5 years, and during this time we expend R$600~700 with live, while we would expend more than that to keep the PC hardware able to play all games during the same period.
