The gamplay looked hack and slash to me, and I don't think they will change the genre itself.

Well, I can say it certainly don't depend on POV. If an action adventure game is first person, it doesn't make it a first person action adventure genre game, it's just action adventure.

As for the gameplay, it looked more like an Arkham game (action/adventure) than a hack and slash game.
