Eh, not exactly the best news. For starters, cross-buy is digital only right now, which is pretty disappointing. Secondly, we still don't know for sure that Xbox players won't be forced to play against mouse and keyboard PC users in multiplayer games. Lastly, it means that Xbox will have no true exclusives moving forward, which negates the single biggest reason to buy a console.

Honestly at this point it's looking like PC is the way to go in the future, you get all Xbox games, plus the usual PC exclusives (indies, MMO's, MOBA's, RTS, etc.), plus the 3rd party exclusives that Sony only gets console exclusive rights to (SFV, Shenmue 3, I Am Setsuna, etc.), all on one platform. Not to mention Steam sales and the like, which are currently better than either Sony's or Microsoft's sales. The only downside I see to PC gaming moving forward is the lack of game rentals.

Biggest reason to get a console is not to want to play on PC. Which i actually don't want except for old games. Basically all pre Steam.

Years back a reason for PC gaming and/or console gaming was totally different games.

Now my biggest concern actually is mouse+WASD vs. controller, at least for FPS/TPS.
