Of course stuff like this can happen if you are careless, but you can lose also all your digital games if youre banned on PSN or Steam for being careless. So whats your point?

Blue Rays are also near unscratchable dueto to their disc protection, and scratches shouldnt cause this i dont think so

My point is that it is significantly easier to scratch/damage/lose your disc than to get banned from psn/steam loll. Heck, you really need to do something zomg worthy to get banned from Steam... People have cheated countlessly in valve's own games and they still aren't banned.

And blurays are not near unscratchable... Where do you get this type from stuff from? They are harder to scratch yes but they are still relatively easy to scratch. Like my sister scratched my Smash Bros 4 bluray disc pretty easily...

I got this impression because i smashed my own PS3 game at the ground when i lost in Tekken Tag 2 so bad :) it worked just fine if you wish it with a microfiber. One of my Blue Ray Games also has a crack near the hole but it also just works fine, same is true for a PC DVD Game where even some parts are missing on the disc near the same spot. They work fine because the laser is also more advanced. Your sister clearly tried to scratch it on porpose with a thin objects thats why the disc isnt working anymore. However there are vaious places where you can get the disc refubished.

Getting banned is pretty easy these days on the internet, just look at forums. Your profile says itself that you got banned on PSN. And i am pretty sure its possible on steam too.
