Dumb move by Sony. By starting over you will be back to 0 each generation while Microsoft will be around 30 - 40 million regarding their last console which should run all the new games pretty well. Not to mention windows 10 PC gaming machine will increase their install base as well. Microsoft is really helping developers by making it easy to make games for xbox/pc and having a huge install base to help sell their games.
