I do think fanboy arguments are funny.
I should have done a tad more research before posting the games I was hoping to see make it to the PS3 -- I didn't realize that Mass Effect was published by MS, and thus would never make the port over, when I originally posted. The others I listed though, are not -- I was referring to Gears sequels when I mentioned Gears, and I was unclear about that as well. I'm not going to bother looking into if Gears 2 is also being published by MS. If so, great, I will score it on my PC again.
Sony exclusives look better to me -- I'm very sure that's not the same for everyone, but I realize now that the PS3 has something of a "port to 360" obstacle that doesn't work the opposite direction -- namely the colossal size difference between a dual-layer DVD and a BD, and of course the guaranteed existance of a HDD. That's got to be a real problem if you go nuts with the BD space (which a lot of PS3 exclusives seem to be doing), and then want to port to the 360. I'm finding myself glad that I purchased a PS3 instead of a 360 more every day. You can call me a fanboy if you like, except that I could care less who "wins" -- as far as I'm concerned, I'm the winner. I'm a gamer. When the 360 scores enough decent titles, you bet I'll buy one. As long as MS keeps losing great titles like Bioshock to the PS3, I'm not going to bother looking at a console that will, supposedly, be "upgraded" in just 1.5 (Q4 2010) to 2.5 (Q4 2011) years.
