Errrrr..... no. I'm sure if we had this conversation 10yrs ago and i was talkung about 2.5" SSDs you would prpbably hsve daid the same thing. I just saw a 480GB m.2 drive for $120 although its using a sata 6Gbit interface. So that will onoy peak at 500MB/s.
Point is, I'm surr by this time next year we could have nvme drives for just as much and in 3yrs we probably won't really be talking about 2.5" drives anymore.
I just wish they at least support it, they don't hsbe to put in the drive, just give ur the interface so we have the option.
