Ok, this may sound weird but contrary to all the hoopla over TFs and whatnot; whats really at the top of my wishlist is an nvme m.2 drive support in these new upcoming revisions.
I personally think it would make the single biggest difference in how we experince our games.
For those that don't know, an nvme m.2 drive allows data trasfer speeds of up to 2.5GB/s. But realistically lets peg it down to 1.5GB/s.
Thats over a 10 times jump in data transfer rates from what we hsve in the current consoles today. If you ever waited for 1min for a game to load before, with a drive like that you will be waiting for no more than 6 seconds. And it would literally bring an end to loading screens as we know.
i know m.2 drives are still on the pricey side, especially the nvme variants, but i hope they at least give us the option to be able to throw one into those consoles.
Any chance of something like this happenning? Maybe we should start a twitter campaign or something.
