Lol do you not think what you say through?  If SFV has sold less than a million on PS4 because the game let itself down why would it suddenly sell well on X1? It would have sold a fraction of the ps4 version just like nearly all multiplatform games do.

TR is heavily ps biased compared to xbox so it would obviously have sold a shit load more.

Ps4 version of ROTTR >>>>>>>> X1 SFV

Exclusivity is damaging RROTR because they fucked over their biggest player.

It's pretty obvious.

I think exclusive deals are bad for both IPs. But RotTR is in better position because PS4 fans will have it. Meanwhile millions of X1 fans will never play SFV.

Frankly, I don't care if you disagree as you can see my opinions aren't gonna change.

Pretty much this. lol, you guys are having the exact same argument as your SFV/TR thread. You both agree exclusive deals hurt IPs. I agree with you that TR is better off because it will still sell millions on PS4. SfV on the other hand, V caused some real damage to the IP. Mostly because the game itself was shitty, but based in what Capcom was saying about SFV before the deal was announced, one can logically assume the exclusive deal is partly why the game was rushed out and thus partly responsible.

When the next TR launches, people won't give a shit about ROTR being timed exclusive. But when SFVI launches people will remember how bare bones V was and how meh the online servers and netcode were.
