What does that have to do with my comment???

I don't care if my old console can play new games... I care if my new console could play old games... The games that the console after Scorpio probably won't work on xbox 1 but the xbox 1 games will work on the console after Scorpio and thats what I care about. Backwards Compatibility

Its one of the main reasons I love PC gaming. I don't have to have 5 PCs with 5 different OS's in order to play old games, but 1 PC with 1 OS which allows me to play old games to new games. Of course it isn't perfect but generally, there are ways to play old games one way or another.

ahh okay i thought you talked about Fordward compatibility. Its pretty obvious that PS5 will play PS4 games going forward thanks to the x86 architecture now. You cant play all PC games with 1 OS by the way, at some point your games wills stop running on the latest windows

Well we are getting lots of ways to be able to play super old games. You can play them through virtual machines or through a patch from some sites. Granted some games still won't work but it is significantly better than console's offerings in terms of how far you can go.
