First of all, accorging to the gonintendo link, Neversoft is only doing the 360 and PS3 versions. Two other studios are working on the Wii and PS2 versions respectively, so you can get those versions safely.
Second, do we have any proof this was Neversoft's idea? Or was it Red Octane's idea?
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
