So maybe it's not the precise Valve game with a 3 in it that we're waiting for. Still, any news of a 3 coming out of Valve within our lifetimes is probably good news. In this case, it's a hint of zombie shooter Left 4 Dead 3, revealed in an image of a Valve employee's folder directory.

Shen’s Last Gift, a new chunk of XCOM 2 DLC landed today. It kicks off when the commander and co. receive a transmission from an abandoned Advent research facility. You and Chief Engineer Shen investigate, take on a bunch of robots, and find a mech prototype—presumably her father’s “Last Gift”.

TOTAL WAR: WARHAMMER BATTLES GET BLOODY WITH GORE DLC

Total War: Warhammer's Old World is a place of constant battle, but it all seems a bit too cheery without blood splattering the field or greenskins being decapitated by dwarfen axes. To recast the Warhammer world as an appropriately horrifying place, Creative Assembly released its usual Total War gore DLC on Thursday. The trailer above delivers pretty much all the goods: dismemberment, ogres biting heads off, trolls going HAM. It's a delightful mess.

"We've been talking about him," director Jeff Kaplan says on the Battle.net forums. "We wanted to see how the Widowmaker and McCree balance changes played out before making any changes. We're exploring some options right now. Nothing more to report at this time."
