Finally, it does not matter what it "sounds like" but rather what it actually is.  Feminism IS pursuit of equality.  If equality isn't in the equation it isn't feminism.

I'm sure a lot of feminists are pursuing a reduction in male suicide rate or work-related injuries...

Indeed a lot are; safer work sites are beneficial to both sexes and suicide prevention measures are likewise beneficial for everybody.
